Since I gave my first cat bottle cap pincushion to my friend, I made another one for myself. It is about 1" across. If I take the straight pin out, I can also add a magnet to the back and use it as a refrigerator magnet. <grin>

Sea Shell Pincushion - March 28, 2012
I made another sea shell pincushion today. It is about 1 1/2" across. I gathered a circle of fabric and stuffed it before closing it up. I then added a pearl and I love how it turned out. I have a whole plate of them made now.

I made 6 more cookies and plan to make a lot more. So far, I've made about eighteen fortune cookies.

Suet Feeder Filled with Fabric and Yarn Scraps for the Birds - March 16, 2012
I filled my empty suet holder with fabric and yarn scraps. I'm going to hang it outside for the birds to pick at the fabric and yarn and hopefully weave through their nests. I would love to see these wonderful colors hanging in the trees in my yard.

Fabric Fortune Cookies - March 4, 2012
I made six fabric fortune cookies, using some of my bright fabrics. They are from the pattern, "Fabric Fortune Cookie Recipe", by Anna Chan < fabric Fun from San Francisco - 1997>. I love her pattern & had fun printing out fortune cookie sayings on the computer to add inside the cookies.
I also printed out a recipe to make real fortune cookies in the kitchen.

I made this firefly bottle cap pincushion and glued it in a Blue Moon beer bottle cap. After gathering the circle of firefly fabric, I added stuffing, gathered it tighter and knotted it. Then I added beads to being him to life.

Americana Star Pillow - March 1, 2012
I just finished this little Americana star pillow that I started a few days ago. It is to lay on the bed in an extra bedroom that is decorated in Americana. It is about 12" across in size and made from Cranston checks and plaid upholstery fabrics. I love how it turned out.
